You won’t find traditional ramen at Yagi Noodles. Our menu is boldly American and inspired by Chinese and Japanese comfort foods. Chef Basil Yu incorporates traditional techniques and the freshest seasonal ingredients to bring you next-level noodles. All of our noodles are handmade from freshly milled local wheat. 

James Beard nominated Chef Basil Yu is a rising star in the Rhode Island culinary scene. He’s worked in restaurants for most of his life, beginning with his parents’ restaurant in Manchester, New Hampshire. In addition to his love of food, he’s an art and pop culture enthusiast, informing Yagi’s cool, eclectic interior design. 

Yagi Noodles is located in the Long Wharf Mall, Newport’s premier location for shopping and dining. Our space boasts coastal vibes with elemental decor, friendly and knowledgeable service, outdoor seating, a noodle room, and lots of local artwork.
